Abstract

One unsupported nickel catalysts (about 55 wt.% Ni) supported on SiO<sub>2</sub>, Al<sub>2</sub>O<sub>3</sub>, TiO<sub>2</sub>, Nb<sub>2</sub>O<sub>5</sub>, ZrO<sub>2</sub>, V<sub>2</sub>O<sub>5</sub> and ZnO were characterized by pulse dynamic oxygen chemisorption measured at -78 °C and evaluated in the reaction of reductive amination of diethylene glycol. Correlation was obtained between their oxygen uptake and catalytic activity.
