Abstract

<p>The biological activity of azoles, pyrimidines as well as pyrazolines are of interest. Formation of pyrazolines and related compounds from hydrazine derivatives and α,β-unsaturated carbonyl compounds is very common. Pyrazoline fused with different heterocyclic nuclei at position 4 and 5 have been reported. Here we report the synthesis of some new monocyclic or fused azoles and pyrimidinones linked to C-4 or 5-chloro-3-methyl-1-phenylpyrazoline.
