Abstract

<p>A mathematical model for convective diffusion to the so-called line electrode was solved by combination of the analytical and numerical approaches. All terms of the diffusion equation were respected. A semiempirical formula was derived, extending appreciably its applicability with respect to the decisive physical and geometric parameters.
